Studies

The Economics and Statistics Committee of FESE conducts ad-hoc studies on the most up-to-date topics in the industry. The most recent papers are:

European Exchange Report

FESE has created the European Exchange Report that represents a valuable source of integrated information about Europe’s diverse exchange industry. Each exchange’s financial and trading figures are summarised on a one page statement allowing for easy and transparent comparison of exchanges’ business models.

The information has been compiled based on the data gathered by the FESE Economics and Statistics Committee (ESC) in cooperation with the financial departments of every member exchange.

Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs)

FESE's Economics and Statistics Committee has commissioned Euronext to prepare a report on European ETF, with input and comment from FESE member exchanges.

Share Ownership Survey

FESE's Economics and Statistics Committee has commissioned the Spanish Exchanges (BME) to prepare a report on Share Ownership Structure in Europe. First produced in 1993, this has subsequently been revised and up-dated with input and comment from FESE member exchanges. This study is no longer available. Related information can be found in the Eurostat website.

"Alternative" Markets / Segments in equity
