High-level Roadmap to T+1 Securities settlement in the EU – Consultation

About the High-Level Roadmap

The EU T+1 Industry Committee’s High-Level Roadmap (“HLRM”) marks an important milestone of the collaborative and inclusive process towards T+1 securities settlement in the EU. The Industry Committee has worked according to a robust governance structure to centrally coordinate the project in a way which ensures that all stakeholders’ views are appropriately represented. To ensure that the work of the Technical workstream (TWs) has benefited from a sufficiently wide range of skills and expertise, and to promote an inclusive and transparent process, participation in the TWs was left open to all candidates with the relevant expertise, seniority and capacity to actively contribute to the work. Approximately 1200 individuals have participated in the TWs and therefore contributed to the development of the HLRM.

About the Consultation Phase:

  • This is not a formal public consultation, but rather a feedback phase to gather additional input from stakeholders, that may support the Committee’s future work.
  • The document will not be revised based on this feedback, but relevant and agreed input may be used in follow-up activities.

The consultation period timeline and submission process will start on 03 July with the deadline to accept feedback 31 August.
