We represent exchanges (regulated markets) which provide both institutional and retail investors with transparent and neutral price formation. Securities admitted to trading on our markets must comply with stringent initial and ongoing disclosure requirements and accounting and auditing standards imposed by EU laws.
Many of our members also organise specialised markets that allow small and medium-sized companies across Europe to access capital markets; about 1,300 companies were listed in these specialised markets/segments in equity, increasing choice for investors and issuers.
Through their regulated markets (RM) and multilateral trading facility (MTF) operations, FESE members fully support
the European Commission’s objective to create a Capital Markets Union (CMU).
As a trade association, FESE adheres to a strict set of principles and believes in full disclosure and objectivity in all its activities. In line with these principles, FESE is registered with the EU Transparency Register.
