On 20 September, FESE and several other trade associations have sent a briefing to negotiators of the REMIT Review legislation with respect to the requirement under Article 9 and the supervision of third-country firms. In the briefing, the trade associations caution against establishing market access barriers for third-country firms while endorsing the approach taken in the Council General Approach. The REMIT Review is currently in the stage of inter-institutional negotiations between the Council and the European Parliament.
